What are the Career Institutes?
The main purpose of the Dallas ISD Career Institutes is to provide high school students a choice to pursue a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway, work with industry partners, train on state-of-the-art, industry-standard equipment, obtain four or more certifications, and obtain dual credit when appropriate, prior to graduation. A Career Institute will prepare students for high skill, high wage, and high demand occupations.
Currently, we have 3 different locations that support 25 high schools.

¿Qué son los institutos profesionales?
El propósito principal de los Institutos de Carreras de Dallas ISD es brindarles a los estudiantes de secundaria la opción de seguir un Camino de Educación Profesional y Técnica (CTE), trabajar con socios de la industria, capacitarse en equipos de última generación y estándar de la industria, obtener cuatro o más certificaciones, y obtener doble crédito cuando sea apropiado, antes de la graduación. Un Instituto de Carreras preparará a los estudiantes para ocupaciones de alta destreza, altos salarios y alta demanda.
